Policy for the Neuronally Challenged →
“Well actually, I do know what I want to do, I just probably shouldn’t do it.” -Me, talking to Chauntel about going to class or not. Otherwise known as, later on I actually just feel too shitty to go to class even though it is the third week and I missed the first one. I can’t do it physically or mentally or something, and it isn’t happening. I am going to stay home,...

Tomorrow.
Tomorrow I will begin a blog (or blog-entry-a-day-within-this-“blog”) about the things I read this year. Because not only do I want a better way of cataloguing things I have read, but I want to be able to share good books with people I like, since this is one of the things I like most in real life too.
But right now, since I am coming down with a cold or some shit (which I promise to...

I always seem to regret getting up at noon. Today, all I wanted was the fuck out of the house, but instead, I get to clean up after literally everyone because no one else is here and the landlord aka. M.’s dad is en route.
I am really starting to feel taken advantage of.

I should probably be showering and continuing my life of reading with art breaks, buuuut instead I will be eating cookies and watching the new Criminal Minds… See you in a hour!
Also: I just ate peanut butter and chocolate chips off a spoon. If you haven’t done this before - you’re welcome.

So there really is no state of mind in which to watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind that will allow you to not cry multiple times. I got a couple good drawings (chalk & oil pastel added afterwards) out of it though. What an intense movie.
I also drew some of those macro grain of sand shots. Will scan and upload at some point this week.

“The 1983 Guinness Book of World Records claims the “Longest Sentence in Literature” is a sentence from Absalom, Absalom!containing 1,288 words.”
So Faulkner writes sentences in this book that are longer than some entire short stories I have written. That’s cool. Not at all intimidating, or complicated… It’s gonna be a long day.
The most frightening things are earthquakes, thunder, fires, and fathers.

Just finished Light in August. Holy fuck, that was sad. Onto Absalom, Absalom next. The infamously stream of consciousness, punctuation-free, Southern gothic. Good luck, brain.
I hope everyone who has been out keeping the Trash open for the last year gets in tonight & it isn’t just full of the assholes who basically bailed, and caused the closure in the first place…
That is to say my fave bar, the one where M. works, is going under and tonight is the last night. Time to drink & dance like it is third year again!

Things Known For Sure.
I like the most recent Destroyer album, the old friends that still want to be old friends, and anything involving texture and paint on canvas. I don’t like forgetting a lighter when I leave the house, cliffhanger endings, and stagnancy.
Oh, and I really like anyone else who spends the best moments of their day alone and lost deep in thought or daydream.
That’s all for now.
